A: Virtual Psychology is a cutting-edge developer of mental health standards assessment tools for psychological evaluation, and other related internet-based products specifically developed to meet the needs of practitioners in the area of psychology, psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, neuropsychology, and counseling.
Q: Can anyone use Virtual Psychology products and services?
A: Anyone can register with the Virtual Psychology free account. However, each online product and service we provide has an assigned required Professional Qualification Level. Eligibility to use restricted materials is determined based on education, training, and experience in the mental health field. For more information about the qualification and subscription please see the appropriate sections below.
Q: Where can I obtain additional information about one of your products or services?
A: The best source for detailed information about product development, administration, scoring procedures, and psychometric qualities is the Manual documentation of the product. Further, our programs provide an extensive intrinsic help system. If you need more information, please contact our customer service. Virtual Psychplgy customer support teams provide technical assistance with products and answer customers' questions about their purchases or experiences. The goal of our customer support teams is to have customers leave their interactions with answers, solutions, and overall positive experiences.
Q: Do you carry foreign language versions of your products?
A: Virtual Psychology interface is in English. However, we provide a multilingual database foundation for the clinician's input and our programs are used by mental health professionals across the globe. If you are interested to translate any of our products, contact us for more information about how to obtain our copyright permission. Please include the product name and the foreign language you wish to translate.
Q: Does Virtual Psychology allow any modification or reproduction of their products?

To establish your Professional Qualification Level, you can complete the Professional Qualification process during registration or after you log in to your account. Your Professional Qualification level will determine which of the Virtual Psychology products and services are available to your account.
We are aware that requirements for education, training and licensing vary around the world. We make every effort to evaluate the information you provide fairly and appropriately. If your educational background, training experience, and/or licensing status change or does not accurately represents your professional background, please use our online system to update your professional qualification information. You can update your qualification information at any time from your account.
Q:What are the requirements criteria for the different Professional Qualification Levels?
A: To establish your Professional Qualification Level, you can complete the Professional Qualification process from your Virtual Psychology account manager. Your Professional Qualification level will determine which of the Virtual Psychology products and services are available to your account.
PQ Level A: No special qualifications are required, although the range of eligible services and products is limited.
PQ Level B: A degree from an accredited 4-year college or university PLUS satisfactory completion of coursework in psychopathology, psychometrics and measurement theory, test interpretation, statistics, or closely related areas; OR license or certification from an agency that requires appropriate training and experience. A degree, certificate, or a license to practice in a healthcare profession or occupation, including (but not limited to) the following: medicine, psychology, neurology, nursing, occupational therapy, and other allied healthcare professions, physician's assistants, psychiatry, social work; PLUS appropriate training and experience in the ethical administration, scoring, and interpretation of clinical behavioral assessment instruments. Certain healthcare providers may be eligible to access selected B and C level instruments within their area of expertise. Specifically, relevant supervised clinical experience using tests (i.e., internship, residency) in combination with formal coursework (i.e., diagnoses of mental disorders, tests and measurement, individual assessment, or equivalent) qualifies a healthcare provider to access certain restricted products.
PQ Level C: All qualifications for Level B PLUS an advanced professional degree that provides appropriate training in the administration and interpretation of psychological evaluation; OR license or certification from an agency that requires appropriate training and experience in the ethical and competent use of mental health diagnoses and psychological tests.
Q: Does Virtual Psychology provide technical support?
A: Virtual Psychology provides technical support free of charge for all the products and services we sell. Our technical support specialists have extensive knowledge and direct access to programming and product development staff for prompt and accurate answers to your questions. Our technical support specialists are available EST, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can contact technical support by e-mail, or from our online Contact form. You will receive a response by the next business day.
Virtual Psychology does not provide technical support to the free plan subscribers. However, you may find some technical assistance on the product documentation.

A: Virtual Psychology users will be notified of any updates deemed critical to the use of our online programs. All Virtual Psychology software updates are available on this website, and complete upgrade information and instructions are provided online.

A: Virtual Psychology encourages the use of our products and services in research projects. However, we require that a formal written permission agreement be obtained from Virtual Psychology before beginning the work if a modified version (including translations, use of tables, graphs, and/or text from our products) or only a portion of the product is needed.
