Entering Codes

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The RAP3 coding engine allows you to enter codes by using its interactive features of popup windows, various tables, lists, and pull-down menus. Remember, when a coding area includes the arrows-down icon clip0007, it indicates that clicking on the area title will open the pop-up window of this area.

Some codes, like Z-Score, you enter directly from the main coding page. For other codes, like Location, DQ, FQ, (2) and Popular, you can choose between code entering from the main coding page or from a popup window. And, to enter codes for Location Number, Determinants, Contents, and Special Scores, use their popup windows.

Click on any of the links below to find out more about these main coding areas:

 Location

 Development Quality

 Determinants

 Form Quality

 Pair

 Contents

 Popular

 Z-Score

 Special Scores

If you are not a very experienced Rorschach coder we highly recommend opening the Code Help program as a handy assistant for code definition, clarification, and examples for each of these main coding areas. Click the Code Help link to open the RAP3 Code Help in a new tab. In this way, you can quickly switch between code definition and code entrance.
